ABSTRACT
In order to coordinate the relationship between supply and demand of urban rail transit, this paper established an optimization model of train operation density for single track, based on the theory of collaborative current limit. Besides, the model integrated with the objective function which made the sum of waiting time of inbound passengers and detained passengers shortest. And a series of constraints were set to ensure the effectivity of the model: passenger demand, station capacity, section conveying capacity, line capacity, train interval capacity. In addition, applying the model in a calculation example as a case study, results demonstrated that the optimal density of trains with coordinated passenger flow control on a single line can effectively alleviate the operating pressure of large passenger flow during peak hour.
