ABSTRACT
Some bridges are in deep water, the dynamic response of the structure is affected by the long-term interaction between deep water and waves. At present, most of the research studies focus on deep-water bridges with the solid piers. However, there are few studies on the fluid-structure interaction of deep-water bridges with the hollow piers under the effects of an earthquake, flowing water and waves. In this paper, the hollow pier is used as the research object to analyze the dynamic response under current action, wave action, current action, and wave action. The results show that the dynamic response of the pier is not the direct superposition of the single action of the current and the wave.
