Research on Parking Sharing Scheme Based on Multi-Source Information

Publication: CICTP 2020

ABSTRACT

With the rapid growth of the number of vehicles, the ratio of parking supply and demand is increasingly changing. This paper analyzes the supply and demand of parking facilities for buildings, public, and on-street parking facilities of traffic zones in typical areas, which contain various types of land and obtains the gap between the supply and demand. According to the acceptable distance, this paper delineates the sharing range for traffic zones with sharing demand, and analyzes the sharing openness and parking demand characteristics of parking facilities. Through utility function and TOPSIS method, the priority and sharing proportion of supply areas are determined, and the number of shared berths in peak hours is obtained. The paper gives the optimization suggestions of parking sharing quantity and parking resources in typical areas under the influence of multiple factors based on Jinhanlvgang data of Beijing. The conclusion will provide reference for solving parking problems in typical areas, and improve the quality of transportation.
