Study on Traffic Organization of Nuclear Power Plant Based on Four-Stage Transportation Theory

ABSTRACT

To improve nuclear power plant traffic organization predictability and ensure safe, efficient traffic flow, four-stage transportation theory is introduced. By obtaining nuclear power plant traffic flow characteristics, the four-stage method is improved. Taking Haiyang nuclear power plant as the object of study, this paper first studies the actual traffic flow situation of the plant and compiles basic data and traffic rules. Then, based on four-stage transportation theory of traffic planning, TransCAD is used to allocate traffic flow. Finally, the simulation platform is built with VISSIM simulation software. Microcosmic simulation is carried out through the simulation model after parameter calibration. Results show that service level of each road in the power plant reaches grade C and second in terms of delay and vehicle saturation, after system traffic flow organization. Transportation efficiency improved in delay and vehicle saturation by 19.3% and 36.3%, respectively. The system is stable, and speed freedom is high.
