Research on Large-Scale Vehicle of Electropneumatic Brake Pressure Change Rate for Braking Ride Comfort

ABSTRACT
Pneumatic brake is the main braking method for large-scale vehicles. Because of problems such as gas compressibility, transmission delay, and leakage, there is pressure or time deviation between the actual and desired brake pressure responses. In order to solve the problem of braking ride comfort of electropneumatic brake system for large-scale vehicle, the brake pressure change rate that comprehensively considers the brake pressure deviation and brake time deviation of electropneumatic brake system for large-scale vehicle is proposed. The correlation model between the pneumatic brake pressure change rate and the jerk is established. The calculation model of the pneumatic brake pressure change rate is established by using MATLAB/Simulink. Based on dSPACE and pneumatic circuit, the testing system of pneumatic brake pressure change rate is established. By analyzing the results, the effectiveness of the conceptual model, association model, and computational model established in this paper are verified.
