Abstract
Pilot studies were carried out to explore ridesourcing service (RS) traveling choice characteristics from customer viewpoints. First, a questionnaire was implemented by considering spatial distribution characteristics of RS demands, expert experiences and customer experiences. Then, the characteristics, single influencing factor and multiple combinatory influencing factors for RS choice were analyzed. Also, a RS traveling choice model for Beijing Central City was established by using binary logistic regression analysis through two stages of all-factor and sensitive factor analysis. The results show that the primary influencing factors of RS choice are salary levels, RS patterns, traveling distance, and ease of subway transfer levels. The model and influencing factors would be helpful for traffic practitioners in similar regions.
