Abstract
In order to study the time and space patterns of Chengdu residents’ activities, dispatch the vehicle better and prevent it from running empty, which will occupy road resources, GIS technology and the nuclear density analysis method are used to study the Didi order data of Chengdu from November 14 to 20, 2016 and cluster passenger activities, and explore the temporal and spatial change of residents’ activities. The study shows that the intensity of activities on non-working days in Chengdu is larger than that of working days. There are obvious morning, middle, and late peaks of commuting on working days, only midday, and evening peaks on non-working days, and a high concentration of residents in the main urban area. The detailed rules of resident activities provide a reference for dispatching.
