Research on Lean Construction System in the Background of Construction Industrialization

Publication: ICCREM 2018: Innovative Technology and Intelligent Construction

ABSTRACT

Construction industry has played an important position in Chinese economy and its market scale is expanding. However, the productivity of the construction industry is still very low and the waste of labor and materials is very serious. Construction industrialization is an irresistible trend and effective means to solve the problems in construction industry. So the paper integrates lean philosophy and lean tools into construction process to establish a lean construction system to improve the quality and efficiency of construction industry in the background of construction industrialization. The paper also makes suggestions on the key points for successful deployment of the system, so as to promote the overall competitiveness of construction enterprises and realize green development of construction industry.
