Influence of CWCPM on the Mechanical Property of Cement Stabilized Aggregate
Publication: Transportation Research Congress 2016: Innovations in Transportation Research Infrastructure
ABSTRACT
In order to alleviate the present issue of construction waste piling up, this paper studied the mechanical properties of cement stabilized aggregate constructed with construction waste composite powder material (hereinafter referred to as CWCPM). Analyzed the microcosmic improvement mechanism of CWCPM on the performance of cement stabilized aggregate through DSC-TG test. The results show: CWCPM improves the 28 d unconfined compressive strength and 90 d flexural strength of the specimens; an appropriate dosage of CWCPM improves the compression resilient modulus of the specimens. The CWCPM has good filling effect and volcano ash effect, which perfect the cement hydration products and reduce the content of Ca(OH)2, finally improve the compactness of cement-based materials.
