Evaluating the Commercial Real Estate Development Environment in China
Publication: ICCREM 2014: Smart Construction and Management in the Context of New Technology
Abstract
The financial crisis in 2007 has not only increased the uncertainty factors of the Chinese real estate market, but also caused changes of the global economic landscape. With increasingly fierce competition of the residential development, the trend of profit showed lower margins. In order to get more lucrative returns, more and more real estate developers are turning the business to commercial real estate from residential field. This paper selected 42 variables of 35 large- and medium-sized cities in China, and established a scientific evaluation index system after a study on the commercial real estate development environment by the time-series global principal component analysis.
