The Carbon Emission Model of Sports Venues of Higher Education Institutes in China

Abstract
With climate change and increased emissions of greenhouse gas, research on carbon emissions has gained worldwide attention. The goal is to achieve the maximization of commercial benefits, social benefits and environmental benefits for the sports venues of the higher education institutes in China. This article is based on the domestic and overseas carbon emissions research results, with the Heilongjiang University's sports venue as a case study. It analyzes the calculation method of the carbon emissions of sports venues' own operations and the transport carbon emissions of the related customer groups. Meanwhile, it puts forward the quantitative model of carbon emissions of sports venues of the higher education institutes in China. To some extent, it explores to complement the theory of carbon emissions of sports venues.
