Abstract
For a wide range of reinforcement and high rates of water plugging, full-face curtain grouting technology is one of the major measures to improve soft surroundings and seal high-pressure water, especially to excavate underwater tunnels that lack a complex stratum owing to a large amount of groundwater. Because of high pressure, large quantities, and long cycles of injection, full-face curtain grouting technology has a great effect on tunnel excavation. This paper discusses the control action of full-face curtain grouting technology on deformation of a tunnel and recommends sensible preventive action.
