Discussion on the Promotion of Drop-and-Pull Transport Organization Mode of Shandong Province Road Logistics Enterprises

Abstract
Drop-and-pull transport, according to a predetermined operation plan, refers to a tractor dropping a trailer in a cargo loading area and unloading. This paper introduces the significance of the development of drop-and-pull transport and the achievements of the drop-and-pull transport pilot project of Shandong Province. There are problems with lag in dedicated infrastructure construction, regulations, policies, and standardized construction of models, as well as a lack of leading enterprises and cooperation among enterprises. By adjusting laws and regulations, strengthening the standardization of vehicle types, and constructing a freight market network, leading enterprises can solve the problems in the pilot project and promote the development of Shandong's drop-and-pull transport.
