Analysis of the Track Irregularities Spectrum for the He-Wu Passenger-Dedicated Line

Abstract

Track irregularities power spectra can clearly reveal the wavelength components that track irregularities contain and mean square value density characteristics of track irregularities. The track irregularities power spectrum can also provide the information of breadth and wavelength. Therefore, track irregularities power spectra are not only an important basis for dynamic calculation of track structure, viaduct structure, and tunnel structure, but also the key factors for estimating the safety of vehicle running and guiding the railway line maintenances. In our country, a lot of research on track irregularities spectra has been done. But irregularities spectrum research is very short of high-speed passenger-dedicated line because the analysis and estimation of track irregularities spectrum needs to process a lot of irregularities data. In this paper, according to a large number of Hefei-Wuhan Passenger-Dedicated Line irregularities data, by preprocessing the trend, terms and outlier can be deleted. And via modified averaged periodogram method, the irregularities spectrum estimation of the Hefei-Wuhan Passenger-Dedicated Line can be accomplished. And the averaged spectrum of the Hefei-Wuhan Passenger-Dedicated Line was compared with fifth-level and sixth-level irregularities spectra of the United States. The characteristics and changing discipline of irregularities amplitude with wavelength was proposed.
