Abstract
Division time interval of regional bus dispatch is an important problem for optimization of regional bus dispatch and bus utilization. The problem is defined based on past study at first. Then a new bus dispatch time interval division method is built, which comprehensively uses passenger flow peak curve and cluster analysis method. The method can be used to optimize both the number and the interval of scheduling period. Finally, the method is tested by an example that indicates that this method can optimize regional bus operation plans.
