Abstract
Numerical simulation (the FEM software ASNSYS) is applied in this paper. Both integrated and unit track models were established. Based on the size of CRTS III slab track, the effect of the mud spillover was analyzed. Simulated conditions by controlling the location and the scale of the mud spillover and force and deformation of the track under the train load and the temperature load were obtained. The results show that the mud spillover has little effect on the overall mechanical properties of CRTS III slab track and compared with the train load, the track with mud spillover is more sensitive when temperature changes. So better to do long-term detection and conservation work during the season that with a difference in temperature and to take timely remedial measures on mud spillover-prone sections.
