Analysis of the Relationship between the Transportation Industry and the National Economy Based on Gray Correlation Analysis and the Input-Output Model

Abstract
There is a direct and close contact between the transportation industry and the national economy. The main content of this paper is to analyze and explore the relationship between them. On the basis of summing up the existing analysis methods, this paper uses gray correlation analysis and the input-output model to explore the relationship between the transportation industry andthe national economy, qualitatively and quantitatively. With the input and output data from 2007 for empirical research, the results show that transportation industry has contributed a lot to the development of the national economy.
