Analysis of Highway Toll Station Etc Lane Capacity

Abstract
Electronic toll collection (ETC) is an important part of the intelligent transport system (ITS). This paper first introduces the meaning of ETC, then discusses the composition and the workflow, and finally analyzesadvantages and disadvantages. Saturated headway is calculated by a mathematical model formula to get the capacity of an ETC lane. And through vissim simulation technology, we get the station capacity about different ETC lanes. Finally we describe all of the level of service and provide a reference for setting the ETC lane.
