Abstract
Transfer points between different transport modes or lines play an important role in transportation and can become a bottleneck if not adequately developed. Well designed and integrated multimodal passenger transport hubs are therefore needed to reduce inefficiencies, reduce travel times, and increase traveler convenience. Based on the research of international and national practices in developing integrated multimodal hubs, eight pieces of experiences are generated. The work framework for developing multimodal passenger transport hubs is presented, including descriptions of the relative approach, methodology, and target for performing the ten scopes of work. Three key activities for the development are also put forward and expounded.
