Section-Metered Pricing Method of the Subway in Beijing

Abstract
With the increase of the number of Beijing subway lines, the basic network of the subway line has been formed. At the same time, the ticketing system has been re- considered. The single ticketing system of Beijing subway has also come under question. The article not only gives the basic procedure of section-metered pricing, but also recommends the preferential policies through analysis of the status of the Beijing subway and comparison of several ticketing systems. The purpose of the paper is to provide a reference for future subway fare reform.
