Supplier Selection Based on Matter Element Analysis

Supplier selection is an important area in enterprise supply chain management. Furthermore, it's the source and basis of supply chain construction. To improve enterprise competition and strengthen supply chain management, the scientific and reasonable method is used to evaluate and select suppliers. This paper uses the matter element analysis method to describe each supplier through evaluation index value and constructs a weighted decision matrix. Through setting the ideal and the negative ideal supplier and calculating the closeness degree between the supplier and the ideal supplier, the best supplier can be selected. Finally, this paper gives an example to use and prove the whole method.
