Abstract
In a water distribution system it is very important to study the influence of the variation of the rotation pump flow in piping systems with respect to forced flow and pressure, because the use of pumps is an increasingly common sanitation system. At the Federal University of Itajubá, UNIFEI, there is a reduced model system that mimics a water distribution system containing hydraulic elements such as pipes, suction pumps, valves, and reservoir supply. In this study we evaluated these parameters on a series of conditions of rotation. In this system there is one inverter frequency ranging from 1750 rpm to 3500 rpm rotation. The results were consistent with existing theories leading to hydraulic correlations.
