Research on Distribution Efficiency of Supermarket Chains by Applying the VENSIM Software

Abstract
Supermarket chain stores, acting as a model of retail formats, are booming in China, and logistics distribution is one of the key determinants to lower costs. This paper employed a specific case-supermarket Wu Dongfeng by using the system dynamics method to illustrate the efficiency of factor analysis. The research makes the following findings: we can adjust the delay time of the distribution center receiving rate; the adjustment time of chain store has a great impact on the distribution center storage and we should pay attention to its controlment.
