Basic Theories and Enabling Technologies of Intelligent Logistics

Intelligent Logistics has been listed as one of the national "Twelfth Five Year Developing Planning in the Area of Internet of Things" key demonstration projects. How to push forward research on basic theories and enabling technologies of Intelligent Logistics, which is characterized with the Internet of Things, is becoming the focus of logistics theories and logistics industry development. As time and space is the basic existence form of logistics, improvement of logistics efficiency and reduction of logistics costs depend largely on the extent of logistics time and space utility. Based on basic demand of organizations for efficiency and value improvement of logistics time and space, integrating Internet of Things architecture and technology can realize intelligent identifying, locating, tracking, monitoring and managing of logistics and form basic theories and enabling technologies of Intelligent Logistics. Basic theories of Intelligent Logistics include mechanism of objects identification and visualization, models for logistics resources intelligent scheduling and optimization, and operation modes and security maintenance of logistics. Enabling technologies of Intelligent Logistics include sensing technology, intelligent decision technology, security technology, etc.
