Study on the Improvement of Campus Guide Sign

Abstract
Guide signs play an important role on the campus traffic engineering design but the facts show that guide sign's effectiveness cannot meet the need of traffic features of campus with the national standards GB5768-2009. So this article explores in the establishment of the campus feature and the design of campus guide sign, study on design theory and methods based on city road and represent a scheme for the hierarchically constructed layout design. The result of this study can be used to amend the design form of campus guide sign and as a reference for concerned design and construction department to update future principles of campus guide sign settings.
