Abstract
Transshipment work of multimodal freight at the railway container center station is a very complex process, as it is restricted by time, space and its own features. In order to optimize the transshipment operation, we need firstly to manage all the key information of multimodal freight. This paper studies the design of the MIS of container freight transshipment at railway container center stations on the basis of the key spatio-temporal data of the railway container center stations and the multimodal container freight coming from the original sea ports to the destination sea port. The function and module of this system is described.
