Abstract
The "W-test" was applied to analyze the probability distribution of the wheel tracking test result of asphalt mixtures. The wheel tracking tests were executed on samples made in the lab and samples obtained from the mixture plant. The results indicated that the relative deformation partly fitted a normal distribution and totally fitted a lognormal distribution. The reliability coefficients of high temperature performance indexes under different reliabilities and different variations were calculated according to the theory of stress-strength interference. On the basis of corresponding specifications, control criterions of high temperature performance for various highway grades were present.
