Abstract
Ticket price is the key factor of passenger flow attraction to urban rail transit and bus transit. To determine a reasonable ticket price for urban rail transit, this thesis used the Logit model and a generalized cost function, which is relatively easy to quantify in place of the utility function in the model, to describing the share rate of different modes of a public transportation system. The income function model of different public traffic modes was established. Then, a ticket price game model between urban rail transit and bus transit was established with the game theory of economics, and a method to determine the best reasonable ticket price was given. Finally, a case example of the Xi'an Metro Line 1 validated the effectiveness and feasibility of real use of the model. The result showed that calculated results from the ticket price game model were reasonable and credible, and the proposed model and algorithm were reasonable and effective.
