The Compatibility Quantitative Analysis between the Economic Development and Non-Motorized Travel in Wuhan
Publication: ICCTP 2011: Towards Sustainable Transportation Systems
Abstract
This study took non-motorized travel in Wuhan as a concrete example via the compatibility quantitative analysis, it deduced a computation module which included the coordination degree (CD) and the coordinated development degree (CDE). Meanwhile, the above two indexes were taken as evaluation criteria in classifying the coordination degree of non-motorized travel and the relevant economic development. Through the study of the evaluation system, the coordination degree was divided into three levels as to offer a comprehensive evaluation on non-motorized travel in Wuhan. The research aimed to provide theoretical references for the transportation constructive decision makers.
