Best Distance between Two Roads of One-Way Traffic
Publication: ICCTP 2011: Towards Sustainable Transportation Systems
Abstract
This paper used the traffic software VISSIM imitating the one-way traffic network, got the data of every index concerning vehicle, road segment, cross and road network with three kinds of one-way traffic network. This paper then studied and got the best distance between two roads of one-way traffic by compare matrices found that the best distance between two roads of same one-way traffic network different under different cross and network conditions. The results indicate that VISSIM software can be combined with comparative matrices as an effective analytical process and method; it can decide the best distance between two roads of different one-way traffic network.
