Warning Grading Method for Highway Network Traffic Conditions under Foggy Weather

Abstract
There are serious potential safety hazard to drive in fog. Concentrating on foggy weather which exerts great impact on traffic unblocking and safety, and depending on fog characteristics, effecting area, arriving intensity and duration, and combining with highway, traffic and terrain factors, this paper establishes a warning index system of highway network traffic condition in fog, and defines warning grades by a simple and practical method, so as to help highway administrative departments to carry out emergency work, and reduce the influence and harm to highway network traffic safety from fog.
