Abstract
In order to obtain a more reasonable method for stability analysis of the karst cave roof, fuzzy theory was induced for comprehensive evaluation of the karst foundation stability. Firstly, multilevel objective decomposition was carried out for the cave roof system according to the roof's engineering characteristics, based on the decomposition results, hierarchy structural model for stability evaluation which is in keeping with the engineering features of cave roof was proposed. Secondly, according to the evaluation model, evaluation indexes were divided into the continuous and discrete types, then, memberships were separately determined for the evaluation. Thirdly, with help of the grey correlation method, weights were determined to each of the indexes, and then, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for karst cave roof was established.
