Plane and Vertical Section CAD System of Subway Line
Publication: ICTE 2011
Abstract
Building subways is one of the important ways to deal with the transportation problems. Currently most of main provincial capitals and cities specifically designated in the state plan are working on the city subway's plan and design. Subway design is a kind of system engineering and it involves many sections. Furthermore the designs of subway station, plane and vertical section are the key of the whole build of subway. The author of the paper did some research and discuss on the CAD system of subway plane and vertical section design, implemented the CAD system on the platform of AutoCAD 2004, developed the functions of interaction design, conjunct design, convenient fast information query, automatic computation needed in the process of design, automatic drawing of the maps of plane and vertical section, and necessary adjustment. The system has been used in many subway engineering projects in China. Users appreciate the system. It acts positively in transportation engineering.
