Abstract
Railway, aviation, highways and other transport modes, which interact and compete with each other, take on most of the passenger transport tasks in Cheng-Yu transport corridor. The paper studied the passenger transport structure in Cheng-Yu corridor based on passengers' selection in order to analyze, adjust and optimize the passenger transport system within the affected range in Cheng-Yu transport corridor. The substance of reasonable passenger transport structure at last sums up as the sharing rate of passenger flow. The paper composed a selection probability model of the travel ways passengers select by using Logit model. In order to establish a Utility function model, the paper introduced a conception of `Time value of passenger' to unify all the indexes. The paper also found a way to quantify the indexes so that the distribution ratio of passenger flow in all transport modes in Cheng -Yu corridor can be calculated. At last we found that the structure of the four transport modes was in accordance with actual situation by comparing the theoretical value with the actual value of the sharing rate. Air transport is less competitive compared with the other modes for its high cost and unobvious time advantage.
