Division Degree of High-Grade Road in Big Cities

Abstract

Division degree of the high-grade road reflects the separation effect the high-grade road produced to the road network in its region. In this essay, we analyzed using path length, the quantity and the form of nodes, as well as the transportation demand, as primary factors for division degree when connectivity and accessibility cannot characterize division effects degree. We also set up a computational method which is based on transportation supply and demand principle. Finally we use examples and proofed that division degree of high-grade road can reflect road division intuitively and effectively. This computational method can provide decision-making reference for high-grade road separation transformation.
