Improved Vehicle One-Dimensional Collision Accident Analysis Models Based on the Finite Element Theory

Publication: ICTIS 2011: Multimodal Approach to Sustained Transportation System Development: Information, Technology, Implementation

Abstract

Based on vehicle collision accident models which were established according to momentum theorem, the aim at the accuracy problem of traffic accident collision speed calculation and analysis is done using finite element simulation technology. The factors for calculation of traffic accident are the key points are deformation, combining the collision theory that had been established. The vehicle collision accident is an improved model which is researched to determine the method by calculating the back stepping of vehicle one-dimensional collision accident model speed, then working out the speed before vehicle collision.
