Abstract
The electrical and mechanical performance of carbon fiber (CF)/carbon black (CB) lightweight concrete (LWC) depends on CF content, preparation method and sand ratio. As CB content is 0.83 vol.%, CF content is more than 0.49 vol.%, and resistivity of CF/CB LWC is less than 102 Ω·cm, Compressive strength and flexural strength reach more than 30 MPa and 5 MPa, respectively. Results show that using a new type of CF mat to prepare CF/CB LWC is an effective method. An experimental pavement model set up in the field using CF/CB LWC can melt snow in real time in spite the snowfall is about 10mm/h.
