Abstract
The critical corrosive ratio of reinforced bar in RC structure is important for durability analysis when concrete protective layer becomes cracked by corrosive expanding. The ultimate tensile strain of concrete has been used to denote the crack of concrete study and the critical corrosive ratio in this paper, and the effective volume expansion ratio has been constructed to describe the effective expanding of corrosive rust, then the critical corrosive ratio model has been constructed with the ultimate tensile strain of concrete. An anodic polarization accelerated corrosion test has been chosen to simulate the corrosion of reinforced bar in reinforced concrete, and a good agreement has been shown between the calculated and the measured corrosive ratios.
