Agricultural Products Supply Chain Contract Mechanism Based on Put Option

Abstract
A model of agricultural products supply chain contract based on put option is established through the analysis of the current supply chain in market, as well as the problem of forward contract. Therefore, a contract mechanism is established to maximize the profit of the supply chain and improve the profits of farmers. This paper provides an option of execution price which maximizes the profits of the supply chain and a range of put option purchase price which can improve farmers' profits. The put option contract mechanism like this will solve the problems of agricultural product forward contract trade to certain degree. Finally, the validity of the contract mechanism is verified through a calculation example.
