Comparative Study on Urban Circulation Power of the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone

Abstract
Based on the evaluation index system of urban circulation power, the paper does comparative studies on urban circulation power of the cities in the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone by means of factor analysis. The paper indicates that the main factors which influence the urban circulation power can be reduced to scale factor, trading factor and information factor and holds the view that the development of urban circulation power is unbalanced between cities in eastern coastal and cities in inland of the Western Taiwan Straits Economic Zone.
