Dynamic Power Equation for Variable Frequency Crane in the Operation Process

Abstract
Being one of the important materials of handling equipment, the gantry crane' energy expenditure performance is related to the economical, efficient and reliable use of it. There is significant research on the energy expenditure performance and saving energy technology in the crane operation process. According to the structure and operation performance of the variable frequency of gantry crane, the energy expenditure performance was analyzed in this study. A dynamic power equation was built and the energy expenditure assessment indexes were ascertained for the operation mechanism. Finally the energy saving methods was obtained by using the power equation. The function of saving energy and reducing emission was realized in the crane design, manufacturing by using phases which were guided by research results, and has great engineering value.
