Multi-Objective Optimal Scheduling for Logistics Resources in Port Logistics Alliance
Publication: ICLEM 2010: Logistics For Sustained Economic Development: Infrastructure, Information, Integration
Abstract
This paper carries out a study on the optimal scheduling of port logistics alliance resources, by considering the total time and total costs of the port logistics companies' service synthetically. A multi-objective optimal scheduling model aiming at minimizing service time and costs is proposed, and the logistics service time window constraint is considered in the model. Then an improved genetic algorithm is designed to solve the model. Finally, a case study is used to show how to arrange logistics activities and allocate the appropriate resources to them, in order to verify the usefulness of the study in this paper.
