Study on Optimal Method of Cargo Flows Distribution in Port Logistics Park
Publication: ICLEM 2010: Logistics For Sustained Economic Development: Infrastructure, Information, Integration
Abstract
It is crucial that research be conducted on optimal method of cargo flows distribution in port Logistics Park. It is very complicated to distribute cargo flows systematically in port Logistics Park when the transportation of resources and destinations are all random variables. This paper sets up a mathematical model of cargo flows distribution in port Logistics Park through analysis of the transport system inside the logistics park, which is based on the open storage network theory, in order to solve the chaotic cargo flows distribution problems. Then this paper designs the genetic algorithm with random simulation to solve the model above and get the optimal solution. So we can get the optimal transport method of cargo flows distribution inside the logistics park in order to break the bottlenecks of cargo flows distribution in port Logistics Park. At last, this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the method through the analysis result of an example and put forward some prospects.
