Abstract
In this paper, we study the location problem of emergency facilities. In order to overcome the shortcomings of the traditional location model, which means evaluation indicator is one—sided appraisal index, we established an improved model based on the P—median location model for emergency facilities. With the actual situation in Anhui Province, the study using the indicator affected population instead of the frequency of disasters, GDP data to describe the economic importance of the region and the total mileage density of the highways to describe the transportation convenience. Then we set a reasonable distance as emergency rescue restrictions. The mathematical model for emergency facility location problem is proposed, with the shortest total distance from emergency facility to its coverage area as the objective function. Furthermore, we solve different indicators of models through operations research software and use gravity method to integration results of models. At last, we chose Anhui Province as an example of model application.
