Study on Resources Optimization Method of Multi-Project in Manufacturing Enterprise Based on Enhanced Particle Swarm Optimization

Abstract
This paper studies the method of resource optimization allocation in multi-project on resource-constrained conditions and resource as decision variable in manufacturing enterprise for analyzing the shortcomings of existing optimization methods. It also proposes a enhanced particle swarm algorithm to solve the resource-constrained project with Multiple activity performance modes. The deficiency which comes from the lack of consultation and collaboration among the particles in basic particle swarm optimization algorithm leads to the slow rate of convergence, the new algorithm introduces the concept of Agent into the particle structures, through the operation of particle rounding-off and mapping, and finally obtains the overall optimum configuration. A manufacturing enterprise with objective to multi-project schedule optimization was used to test the performance of algorithm proposed. The results show that the enhanced particle swarm algorithm is efficient and is a promising approach for the resource-constrained project scheduling problem.
