Improved Modern Logistics System Based on the Integration of GPS, GIS, and RFID Technology
Publication: ICLEM 2010: Logistics For Sustained Economic Development: Infrastructure, Information, Integration
Abstract
In this paper, the definition and advantages of GPS, GIS and RFID are discussed in detail. By the Integration of these three technologies, the modern logistics system is built, and this paper analyzes and discusses the main problems encountered in applications. The main contents of this paper discuss the use of network GPS differential positioning technology based on Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) to replace the conventional GPS single point positioning, thus significantly improving the navigation and monitoring accuracy of logistics vehicles. Based on this, the improved modern logistics system integrating CORS, GIS and RFID are put forward, and the corresponding system framework, system business processes are designed.
