Co-Integration Model of Logistics Infrastructure Investment and Regional Economic Growth in Central China

Abstract
The speed of logistics infrastructure investment in Central China is still lower than other regions since the rise of the central region strategy was put forward. And the ratio of freight turnover is also low. The analysis of the relations, in the central region, between logistics of investment in fixed assets, logistics value-added and GDP found that three variables exist in co-integration relation. It was also found that the investment in logistics infrastructure was the granger reason for the GDP; the investment in logistics infrastructure and logistics value-added was the granger reason for each other. According to the analysis, some counter measures should be undertaken, are as follows: accelerate the speed of logistics investment, optimize logistics environment, promote the logistics capability and reduce logistics cost, etc.
