Research on Building Mode of Distribution Centers Based on Flexible Strategy

Abstract

In today's ever-changing environment, the intensifying characteristics of diversification, individuation, small-lot and multi-batch consumption patterns and differentiation have led to great changes in the external environment of distribution centers. As a result, there is a need to handle uncertainty of service objects. Increasing flexibility has become an important development direction for distribution centers to become more adaptive and dynamic. Based on the flexible strategy, this paper analyzes four perspectives, including function designing, optimized procedure control, equipments selection and performance valuation. The article focuses on providing a fairly complete building mode of flexible distribution centers, which are armed with dynamic dispose and optimized resources in order to improve the adaptability and service level.
