Earthquake Inputs for Structural Aseismic Design in Cities

Publication: Earth and Space 2010: Engineering, Science, Construction, and Operations in Challenging Environments

Abstract

Now some methods, including Deterministic Seismic Hazard Analysis (DHSA) and Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis (PSHA), can be used to study the seismic hazard. All of these methods were utilized in our research to compare the difference among their results and then discuss how to decide the ground motion inputs for structural aseismic design.
