Abstract
The interface bond condition between the Ultra-Thin Whitetopping (UTW) and asphalt pavement influence the stress status of UTW slab. Therefore, it's necessary to research the performance of interface bonding between UTW and old asphalt pavement. Former researches mostly use straight sniping experiment or wedge split experiment to evaluate the interface bond condition, however, those tests do not match the actual bonding behavior between UTW and asphalt pavement sufficiently. In this paper we design PCC-AC composite beam with three point loading test. The Crack Mouth Opening Displacement (CMOD) curve and Midspan deflection-Load curve were collected through the experiments of different bond conditions. Through comparison of results of different interface conditions, it's proved that this test can evaluate bond ability and interlamination dispose improve interface bonding ability effectively.
